I Hope Yer Ok is David Ivan Neil's third LP of meditative, wonky, anti-folk for Vancouver label Kingfisher Bluez. I Hope Yer OK is a message scrawled on a napkin, a transmission from the outskirts, a half-smile from across the bar that says, I know something you don’t. David Ivan Neil writes songs like he’s whispering secrets through a busted PA—somewhere between a joke, a confession, and a dare. Lo-fi country-folk for the ones who left town but never really escaped. If these songs don’t haunt you, you weren’t really listening. Features the single "Used to Only Win" and a cover of Silver Jews' "K-Hole".
